2023 Term 3 Finals and awards

Grand Finals

The grand finals for the term will be held this Thursday. The matches are;

Div 3 - Jokers Jesters vs Dreamers, Court 2 @ 6pm.

Dreamers def Jokers Jesters in 5 sets, 3:2, 21-25, 20-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-9.

MD2 - Team Brazil 2 vs Outlaws, Court 1 @ 6pm

Team Brazil 2 def Outlaws 3:1, 25-17, 22-25, 26-24, 25-20

WD1 - Meow Meow vs Lightning, Court 2 @ 8pm

Meow Meow accounted for Lightning in a one sided affair, 3:0. 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.

MD1 - Panthers vs Chai Tea, Court 1 @ 8pm

The upset of the night was the defeat of Panthers at the hands of Chai Tea. On paper, Always competitive when playing against each other, Chai Tea took control early on and Panthers could not match a more motivated and disciplined Chai Tea team. Scores 3:0 in favour of Chai Tea, 25-21, 25-13,25-19.

The semis for for this season are going ahead this Thursday for Women Div 1 and Division 3.
